Today was our last full day on the resort. It was mainly a chill out day, spent on the beach.
There isn’t much to add because of that, only that we enjoyed being busy not doing anything.
Lunch was brought to us by Logesh, which was a big bowl of chilli nachos. We’ve noticed that, although both Logesh and Dominique have been very attentive during our stay, they’d “upped their game” even more at this point. Could it be that they are expecting a decent tip at the end of our stay. Perhaps, oh cynical one.
We also spoke to Dominique about being able to keep hold of our room tomorrow for a later checkout, but he was a bit evasive and said he couldn’t promise anything.
We stayed on the beach until about 3pm, and then I did 10k on the bike in the gym, followed by a mile on the running machine. I really need to kerpnup with this when I get back home!
Our evening meal was booked at “Gordon’s” again. Our server was a lovely lady called Royann, who’d looked after us the last time we’d eaten there. I’d chosen shrimp ceviche for starter, where the shrimps are “cooked” in a combination of a tangy citrusy flavoured lime juice, mango, onion, coriander and avocado. It was delicious.

My main course was pan-seared swordfish, which came with an olive/onion/tomato salsa, whipped potato, carrot and avocado. That too was lovely.

Knowing we had a long day the next day, we had a fairly early night, watching Elton John and Brandi Carlile on TV, performing on a network premier. It is coming to the UK on 16th April, so well worth a watch.
That’s all for today, just another day in paradise.
